Dr. Kathleen Sciarappa published her doctoral dissertation on the topic of mentoring and went on to create and coordinate the mentor-coach program for the state of New Hampshire Association of School Principals. She was then invited to work on the national level for the National Association of Principals and became the senior mentor program trainer working with thousands of principals across the United States for more than a decade. Recently, she led a team in the creation of the mentor training materials for the International Mentoring Association and currently serves as the senior mentor trainer for that organization. Dr. Sciarappa has mentored dozens of leaders, taught graduate students and remained active at the state and national level as a speaker and consultant on leadership topics; curriculum and instruction; academic rigor; supervision and evaluation; mentoring and coaching; and aspiring leaders. She has written and published video leadership simulations at the University of Pennsylvania for worldwide distribution and taught doctoral students in the Urban Leadership Program at Columbia University. A published author, she has earned special honors and recognitions throughout her career.
